Anxiety in the heart of a man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad. Proverbs 12:25
Are we causing anxiety in others with our complaints, uncertainty, or criticisms? How easy it is for us to defeat this work of the enemy of our souls by speaking good words to others!
Did you notice the result of unchecked anxiety? The result is depression. When anxiety is allowed to run its ugly course in our minds we become fatigued, but the remedy is so simple, a good word.
Obviously if someone is clinically ill they should pursue treatment, but doesn’t that make the words which we choose to speak all the more important, we must guard our words – they have power!
What if our complaint, uncertainty, or criticism is that word which increases anxiety in someone’s life or brings someone to point of depression?
I challenge myself and anyone who would join me to speak words of life to everyone you meet today! Let’s make a change in someone’s life today!
